Teton County managed over 58,000 tons of total material in fiscal year 2026, which is an 8% increase in waste compared to the previous year. This growth in recycling and composting efforts successfully raised the community diversion rate from 30.5% to 33.4%. Local officials are encouraging everyone in Jackson to keep recycling cans, boxes, and food scraps to build on this progress.
