Search and Rescue volunteers used a wheeled litter to evacuate a woman in her 70s from Green Mountain on Monday. The hiker was transported to a waiting ambulance at the North Leigh Canyon trailhead after falling.

Local volunteers from Teton Valley and Jackson coordinated to reach the patient on foot, about two miles from the North Leigh Canyon trailhead. They used a wheeled litter, which is a specialized stretcher on a mountain bike tire with disc brakes, to navigate the rough terrain. After packaging the woman, rescuers transported her down the trail to a waiting ambulance.
