Bronc Backers supports student athletes in Jackson from middle school through high school. The money goes to the unglamorous parts of a season: entry fees, uniforms, equipment, travel to away meets, and help for families who would otherwise have to say no.
Athletics is one of the few places a kid learns to lose in public and show up again the next morning. Ask anyone about their own youth sports and you rarely hear about the score. You hear about the coach who noticed, the ride home in the dark, the friend made in a locker room.
