Mattias Wilson will compete with the U.S. Ski Team this season. The local downhill racer is the latest athlete from the area to reach the national level.
Former Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club athlete Mattias Wilson has been named to the U.S. Ski Team’s men’s C Team for the upcoming winter season. The 20-year-old Jackson native joins a growing list of local athletes on national rosters, including Olympic champion Breezy Johnson and freestyle skier Jaelin Kauf. Wilson recently moved up the ranks after winning a U18 national super-G title at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and securing multiple top-10 finishes at the Junior World Championships.
