Local snowboarder Travis Rice earned the tenth spot on a recent ranking of the Wyoming's most impactful athletes.
Jackson native Travis Rice was recently named the 10th most influential athlete in state history by the Cody Enterprise. The 43-year-old grew up in Wilson and became a global icon through his X Games gold medals and high-production snowboarding films. He is also recognized for co-founding the nonprofit Protect Our Winters to address climate change impacts on mountain environments.
