Dunford, Propst and Chin — unofficially — have beaten Gardner and Newcomb in the Teton County Commissioner race and will move on to the general election.
In the Teton County primary, newcomers Ali Dunford and Karyn Chin, along with incumbent Luther Propst, secured the Democratic nominations for the Board of County Commissioners. Chin narrowly overtook incumbent Mark Newcomb for the final slot as results from Wilson and Alta pushed her into third place. The local turnout was significantly higher than in 2024, with the clerk reporting that Jackson voters surpassed the previous primary's total participation by mid-morning.
