A couple employed by the park share story of totalling their vehicle after hitting a bison on the road last week.
Two Yellowstone workers traveling near Storm Point Trailhead are stranded after their truck was totaled in a night collision with a bison on October 8. The couple, who live full-time in an RV, were driving five miles under the speed limit when the animal stepped into the road, leaving them without a way to move their home before seasonal road closures begin. While they and their dog escaped with minor injuries, they are now seeking help to transport their fifth-wheel to a new job in Utah.
