After playing football for Gallatin and Montana State, Michael Armstrong is now focused on his country music career. He wrote the opening lines to his song Silver Spoon during a snowy December drive from Bozeman to Idaho to pick up a sound system. The lyrics were inspired by the windmills and scenery he encountered during that trip.
