Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter is relocating its traditional winter fundraiser to the Madison Base Area for a summer hiking event. The new program replaces the previous snowshoeing activity with a seasonal trail fundraiser.
Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter is moving its annual fundraiser to the summer with the new Tails & Trails hike at Big Sky Resort on Saturday, July 11. Participants and their dogs will meet at the Madison Base Area for a 3.2-mile loop designed to raise money for medical care and food for the thousands of animals the shelter takes in each year. It is a great way for folks in the region to support an open-admission shelter that served over 3,400 pets last year alone.
