Economic experts and corporate heads recently met to discuss Montana's increasing influence and expansion within the high-tech production sector.
Industry leaders are highlighting Bozeman as a rising center for high-tech production, fueled by federal investment and a push to bring supply chains back to the U.S. Companies like Lattice Materials are expanding with new facilities for infrared optics and semiconductors, which will bring dozens of new jobs to the region over the next few years. This growth is being supported locally by specialized training programs at Gallatin College to help build a workforce for the "photonics" and laser industries.
