A new river ambassador program has launched on the upper Yellowstone River to educate floaters and anglers on proper etiquette and conservation. Organizers will be stationed at popular access points through August to discuss fish-handling, parking rules, and the requirement for a state conservation license. This effort comes as river use near Livingston has surged, with peak weekend crowds now reaching up to 1,600 people per day.
