A new development in Bozeman intends to construct 296 rental apartments offered at rates below current market values to provide more affordable options for the local workforce.
BlueLine Development and the HRDC recently broke ground on Rocky Mountain Flats, a 296-unit workforce housing complex on the west side of Bozeman. The project targets renters earning between 30% and 70% of the area median income, with some four-bedroom units specifically designed for larger families. While this development is several hours away from Jackson, it highlights a similar push across the region to use federal tax credits to combat rising mountain town rents.
