Charles Post and Rachel Pohl are selling their remote farmhouse in Norway’s Lofoten Islands and moving back to Montana after four and a half years. While the couple successfully launched businesses and renovated a dream home, the isolation of the Arctic made navigating medical emergencies, high costs, and language barriers increasingly difficult. They ultimately decided to return to be closer to family after the distance made grieving a relative and missing major life milestones too painful.
